Where is the Course being held?

  • In our beautiful facility in the city centre – Union Quay.

How Long is the Course?

  • The course is 8 hours long altogether.
  • The First to Sixth class course runs with 4 hours on the first day and 4 hours on the second with an hour break for lunch.
  • The Aistear course incorporating junior and senior infants runs for four weeks with 2 hours for each session.

How Much is the Course?

90 Euro – this includes class materials.

How Can I pay?

You can pay in person to Linda at the general office which is located on the ground floor of the Union Quay building

Do I have to be able to play an instrument?

No

Do I have to be able to read and write music?

No

What happens if I miss a class?

There is no refund for missed classes. All class materials will be held for you.

Do I get a certificate at the end?

Yes – you get a CIT Cork School of Music certificate stating that you have completed the course and signed by the class teacher and head of Musicianship and Academic studies.

Will I have to sing on my own?

No! – I will never to that to anyone unless they really really want to! (it happens!)

Will there be movement and actions to music that are potentially embarrassing?

No.
